Announcements...

As I sit here and write in the sun on the back porch afer a long week, I should now announce we have purchased our new home and with excitement but much hesitation, left the farm.  For all those who don't know, we took care of a historic farm for three years and it is all Cole has known.  However, it was time to own a home. The farm will always be a part of us and will be incredibly missed but our new home is making a better impression in us with each day.  It is in a quaint neighborhood with plenty of dogs and children.  Neighbors are always out mending their yards ready with a friendly hello and there is a playground and small lake around the corner and I am sure both will serve us well.

(And a thank you to our sweet neighbor who keeps bringing our dog back to us...we are all adjusting to coming from 200 wild acres to an adorable but quaint 1/3 of one...)

The photographs above are Cole and I enjoying the afternoon on the back porch as I catch up with business.  As you may infer, another announcement is due.  We are expecting our second child this fall.  Cole is excited as he knows it is a baby and tells me he will be a "big brudder,"  We look forward to making this house a comfortable place for all of us in time for our October arrival...

So what does this mean for my photography?  Well, for children's portraiture, I am now doing on location sessions either in the comfort of your own home or in a location of your choosing.  For fine art maternity or wedding portraiture, sessions are available on our old location on the historic farm, or a location of your choosing.  Sessions will still be entirely natural light and will hold the style of my work. I will be accepting sessions until September and will resume as I can around November to not miss out on the Holiday season! In the meantime this October, plenty of newborn portraits will be posted to share as myself and several close friends are expecting fall arrivals, so keep watching!!

A side note to all my patient wonderful clients, I thank you for bearing with us in this time of transition and growth. Luckily photographs are forever and they are not going anywhere. I promise I am getting everything out to you as soon as time, my body and our house allows. Thank you for your patience, you are wonderful!

Please enjoy the photographs of our new home as we are still getting acquainted ourselves, photographs from our days and of course as always, previews into my recent session work.

Wish us luck...

All the best,
Tara
